The plain-language rules of the Soft Stuff Rewards program

These are the rules for Soft Stuff Rewards, the loyalty program available at both Soft Stuff Ice Cream locations. By joining Rewards you agree to the terms below. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
You earn 1 point for every $1 of your eligible purchase amount — the price you actually pay after any discounts, and not including tax, tip, or service charges. Purchases made in a currency other than US dollars do not earn points.
When you join Soft Stuff Rewards, you get a one-time bonus of 10 points. This bonus is available once per person, ever.
Every time your points reach a multiple of 50, they automatically convert into a $5 reward. Each $5 reward is valid for 30 days from the day it's issued — unused rewards expire after that.
You can use one reward per order. If your order total is less than $5, the full reward is still used on that order; we don't give change or credit for the unused portion.
Members receive a $5 birthday reward, issued 7 days before your birthday and valid until 7 days after it. You can receive this once per calendar year. You set your birthday once when you join; our staff can update it for you if you need a correction.
If you return an item, the points you earned on that purchase are reduced to match what you actually ended up paying, up to the amount you originally earned — your point balance can go negative as a result. If a reward was already used on the order being refunded, that reward is not restored or reissued.
Points and rewards have no cash value. They cannot be sold, transferred to another person, exchanged for cash, or combined with other offers or discounts unless we say otherwise at the time.
Soft Stuff may change or end the Rewards program at any time, with at least 30 days' notice.
