What we collect for Soft Stuff Rewards, and how it's used

This page covers the information we collect through Soft Stuff Rewards, our loyalty program at softstufficecream.com and in the Soft Stuff app. See our Rewards Terms for the program's rules.

What We Collect

  • Your email address (or phone number, if you sign in by text) and first name, when you join
  • Your birthday (month and day), if you choose to share it
  • Your purchase amounts at Soft Stuff, linked to your Rewards account so we can calculate points and rewards
  • A push notification token, only if you use the Soft Stuff app and allow notifications

Why We Collect It

We use this information to run the Rewards program: to verify it's really you with a one-time code (by email or text) when you sign in, to track your point balance and rewards, to apply your $5 reward automatically at checkout, to send your birthday reward, and — if you've allowed it in the app — to send push notifications about your rewards.

Who We Share It With

We use the following companies to operate Rewards. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:

  • TorqAI — runs the Rewards platform itself (accounts, points, rewards)
  • Amazon Web Services — sends the email codes used to sign in
  • Twilio — sends the text message codes used to sign in, if you sign in by text
  • Square — the point-of-sale system at one of our locations, used to process your purchase and apply your reward
  • GoDaddy — the point-of-sale system at our other location, used the same way

We do not sell your information.

Emails and Text Messages

We email or text you what's needed to run your Rewards account (like sign-in codes). If you sign up for drop alerts, we also text you when a new drop opens; message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to any text message to opt out of texts.

We do not share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Deleting Your Data

To request deletion of your Rewards account and the information above, call us at (410) 750-7561 — the number listed in our Contact section — and we'll take care of it.
